Design partners

We implement it around your bids. You tell us what to build next.

A one-time implementation engagement — your catalog, your drawings, your bid history — plus locked pricing, in exchange for real usage and honest feedback. The price and the commitments are below, not behind a demo call.

$5,000 one-time implementation, fully credited toward your subscription — with Platform pricing locked for 24 months.

What the engagement delivers

Implementation, not a pilot. Everything below is delivered by the founder, on your own corpus, before your team is asked to change a habit.

Your catalog, imported

We load your spec book and price file into your org's catalog, so extracted BOMs match against your materials and your exports carry your unit prices from the first project.

Tuning on your drawings

We run a representative packet of your isos through extraction, grade the results, and tune spec-class and catalog configuration against how your drawings actually look — not a demo set.

Your bid history, loaded

We ingest your historical bid folders — estimate spreadsheets, BOMs, vendor quotes — as queryable projects in your org, next to your live work. Your history stays yours: full export, any time.

Onboarding that's working sessions, not documents

We sit with your estimating team on real packages until the workflow sticks. You get a named contact — the founder — not a ticket queue.

Pricing locked for 24 months

Your Platform pricing — the monthly minimum and the per-bid rate — is locked at today's published numbers for 24 months from signing, in the contract.

A real say in the roadmap

Design partners are why features get built. The bid-confidence work on our roadmap — document-completeness checks, cross-document conflict flagging, checking new takeoffs against your own history — is shaped by partner feedback first.

What we ask in return

Publishing the asks matters as much as publishing the price. If these don't fit, the standard plan is on the pricing page — no hard feelings.

Real bids through the platform

More than half of your bids running through PipeTakeoff within six months. The partnership only teaches us anything if the work is real.

A biweekly 30 minutes

One short feedback session every two weeks with your designated project lead during the partnership period. What's broken, what's missing, what's next.

A story we can tell

Case-study rights with your approval — anonymized if you prefer — and up to four reference calls a year with serious prospects.

What it costs

$5,000 one-time, invoiced half at kickoff and half at go-live — no hourly billing, no scope creep. The Platform subscription itself is the normal published price; partnerships aren't discounts, they're implementation plus a lock.

The full implementation fee is credited toward your subscription invoices. If the platform earns its keep, the implementation ends up costing you nothing — the same deal we make on the managed takeoff. And no, there's no free-pilot version: partners who pay stay engaged, and our time goes to the ones who do.

Who it's for

Estimating and procurement teams at industrial and mechanical piping contractors, and pipe fabricators (fab shops: your own page is here). We run at most 3 partnerships at a time — the biweekly cadence and founder-delivered implementation don't survive more than that.

Sound like your shop?

Email us what you bid, how many bids a year, and what your current takeoff workflow looks like. We'll tell you straight whether a partnership fits — and if it doesn't, the first project is free anyway.
