Fair use: your free trial covers 1,000 extractions in total, and re-extracting a drawing counts as another. On a paid plan, each drawing is billed once, in the month it is first extracted, so revisions and re-extractions are free. Drawings you extract on the trial are never charged and never use your monthly allowance. Above 1,000 drawings in a month, each drawing adds $0.50.
The system will get some lines wrong. Its job is to tell you when it's not sure.
Low-confidence lines are routed to forced human review before anything lands in your MTO, and every acceptance is recorded in the audit trail.

What counts as one drawing?
One isometric drawing: a single drawing number in a project. Continuation sheets of the same drawing count once, not per page; a set with several drawing numbers counts as several drawings. A new revision of a drawing you already have is the same drawing, and re-extracting it is free.
How much does it cost?
$399 a month, which includes 1,000 drawings each month. Each drawing above that in the same month adds $0.50. A drawing is billed once, the first time it is extracted, so new revisions, re-extractions, and quote review never add to it. Users and projects are unlimited. A month with 500 new drawings costs $399. A heavy month with 1,240 costs $519.
What happens in a heavy bid month?
You pay the $399 fee plus $0.50 for each drawing above 1,000 that month, and nothing more. A quiet month costs the plain fee. Unused drawings do not roll over to the next month. A shop bidding 40 packages a year at 150 drawings each (about 500 a month) pays $4,788 a year.
How is this different from per-page pricing?
Per-page tools price every sheet you upload, so re-checking a drawing or loading a new revision has a meter on it, and a thick package punishes you before you have priced a single fitting. Our fee is one monthly price with 1,000 drawings included and AI processing built in. Revisions and re-extractions are free, so you can work the drawings as hard as the bid needs.
When exactly am I billed?
A drawing counts the first time it is extracted and ready to review, in the month that happens. Billing months run on the calendar (UTC), so your 1,000 included drawings reset on the 1st. A new revision of a drawing billed in an earlier month costs nothing. Above 1,000 drawings in a month, each drawing adds $0.50. Uploading the vendor quotes that come back and reconciling them against your MTO never costs anything.
How does the free trial work?
Your first project is free. Extract a full bid package, review the MTOs, and export the aggregate, with no time limit, and we never ask for a card. The trial covers 1,000 extractions in total; it is a one-time allowance rather than a monthly one, so there is no clock to wait out. Re-extracting a drawing counts as another one. On a paid plan it does not, because there a drawing is billed once rather than per run. You subscribe when you want more than one project open at once, or when the 1,000 extractions run out. Drawings you extracted on the trial are never charged and never use your monthly allowance.
Can you do the takeoff for us?
Once, yes. With the managed takeoff you send us your first bid package and we deliver the human-reviewed MTO within two business days, plus the live project in your account. Then your estimators take over on a normal plan. $4 per drawing with a $500 minimum, credited toward your first subscription invoices when you convert. No service contract.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the billing portal in settings; your plan runs to the end of the current billing period and does not renew.
Do you offer volume or enterprise pricing?
Yes. High-volume contractors can negotiate platform and usage pricing, custom catalog onboarding from an existing spec book, a tamper-evident audit trail with signed export, and a dedicated support channel during business hours. Email sales@pipetakeoff.com.
Do you support SSO?
Not yet. Today you sign in with email and password or with a magic link, and you can add two-factor. SSO (Microsoft Entra ID first, then Okta, SAML, and Google Workspace) is on the enterprise roadmap, and an enterprise contract can pull it forward.
Where is my data stored?
PDFs in Cloudflare R2 (United States). Structured data in a Neon Postgres cluster (US-East). Row-level isolation enforced at the database; nothing leaks across orgs.
Do you train models on our data?
No. We never train or fine-tune AI models on customer drawings, and Anthropic's standard commercial API terms prohibit training on your data. Anthropic retains extraction inputs only for a limited period under those terms.
