Managed takeoff

Send us your first project. Get the reviewed BOM back in two business days.

Then you take the wheel. The managed takeoff proves the loop on a real bid package, before your estimators change a single habit or your team commits to anything.

Flat rate: $4 per drawing, $500 minimum, credited toward your plan when you convert.

Send us a bid package

Step 1

Send the bid package

Email us the iso PDFs: a clean CAD export or a stack of scanned pages, either works. We confirm the drawing count and the exact total before anything starts.

Step 2

We run it in PipeTakeoff

Our team extracts every drawing in the same product your estimators would use, and a human reviews every line before it's committed. Nothing ships on AI output alone.

Step 3

You get the whole project

Within two business days: the aggregated BOM in xlsx and csv, plus the live project in your own PipeTakeoff account. Every extraction and every edit is fully auditable. Your estimators open it, see exactly what was done, and run the next package themselves.

An onramp your team graduates from

Plenty of vendors will happily do your takeoffs forever, and invoice you forever. We won't. The managed project exists to put your estimators in control of the tool: one bid package serves as the proof and the training, and leaves your team a head start on real work. After the handoff, your team runs takeoffs themselves on a normal self-serve plan, and the knowledge stays in your shop.

What it costs

$4 per drawing, with a $500 minimum. We confirm the drawing count up front and quote one flat total; nothing is billed hourly, and the number doesn't move after we start. A typical 150–250 drawing bid package lands between $600 and $1,000.

When your team converts to a self-serve plan, the full onramp fee is credited toward your first invoices. If the tool earns its keep, the onramp ends up costing you nothing.

What's included

  • Reviewed, aggregated BOM delivered as xlsx + csv
  • The live project in your PipeTakeoff account, with the full review trail
  • A 30-minute handoff call walking your team through the work
  • $4 per drawing with a $500 minimum: the exact total agreed before we start
  • The full fee credited toward your first subscription invoices when you convert
  • Same data terms as self-serve: no AI training on your drawings, US-based storage

Already have years of bids in a folder?

We also load bid history: send us your finished-bid folders (estimate spreadsheets, BOMs, vendor quotes) and we deliver them as queryable projects in your account, next to your live work. Your estimators can pull up what a past job actually took off and what vendors actually priced, and your history keeps its real dates. Once it's loaded, new takeoffs are checked against it: a price or quantity that sits outside your own past bids gets flagged in review.

From $1,500 flat per engagement. We quote the exact total after we see the corpus, before anything starts. Imported data stays yours under the same terms as everything else: org-scoped, exportable, and never shared. Email us about loading your bid history.

How your drawings are handled

Managed projects run under the same terms as every self-serve account: PDFs stay in US-based storage, no AI model is trained on your drawings, and nothing is shared across organizations. Details on the security page. Separately, we may ask for written permission to keep a graded copy of the finished project to test our extraction quality against. That's always opt-in, and declining changes nothing about the engagement.
