Step 1
Send the bid package
Email us the iso PDFs — a clean CAD export or a stack of scanned pages, either works. We confirm the drawing count and the exact total before anything starts.
Managed takeoff
Then you take the wheel. The managed takeoff proves the loop on a real bid package — before your estimators change a single habit or your team commits to anything.
Flat rate: $4 per drawing, $500 minimum — credited toward your plan when you convert.

Step 2
Our team extracts every drawing in the same product your estimators would use, and a human reviews every line before it's committed. Nothing ships on AI output alone.
Step 3
Within two business days: the aggregated BOM in xlsx and csv, plus the live project in your own PipeTakeoff account — every extraction, every edit, fully auditable. Your estimators open it, see exactly what was done, and run the next package themselves.
Plenty of vendors will happily do your takeoffs forever — and invoice you forever. We won't. The managed project exists to put your estimators in control of the tool: it's the proof, the training, and the head start, in one bid package. After the handoff, your team runs takeoffs themselves on a normal self-serve plan, and the knowledge stays in your shop.
$4 per drawing, with a $500 minimum. We confirm the drawing count up front and quote one flat total — no hourly billing, no surprises. A typical 150–250 drawing bid package lands between $600 and $1,000.
When your team converts to a self-serve plan, the full onramp fee is credited toward your first invoices. If the tool earns its keep, the onramp ends up costing you nothing.
Managed projects run under the same terms as every self-serve account: PDFs stay in US-East storage, extraction runs under Anthropic's standard commercial API terms (no training on your data), and nothing is shared across organizations. Details on the security page. Separately, we may ask for written permission to keep a graded copy of the finished project to test our extraction quality against — that's always opt-in, and declining changes nothing about the engagement.
Email it over. We'll confirm the drawing count, send back one flat total, and have the reviewed BOM to you within two business days.
